How do I get a defective item, ordered on Bookpecker.com, replaced?
All products sold at Bookpecker.com are covered under our 14 Day Replacement Guarantee. If an item ordered by you on Bookpecker.com is delivered to you in a damaged / defective condition, contact us for a replacement. Our Customer service team will confirm the replacement.

In order to get a defective item replaced

  •      Contact Customer Care at customerservice@bookpecker.com or call us on (022) 6624 2222, within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  •       The defective product will be recalled and a replacement will be shipped immediately.
  •       When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and provide a replacement or issue a refund. If the product is not found to be defective, shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.

How do I cancel an order on Bookpecker.com? Alternatively, how do I return a product ordered on Bookpecker.com?
For outright cancellations by you:
If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.

If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, you can do one of the following:

1. If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support at customerservice@bookpecker.com or call us on (022) 6624 2222and inform them of the same.
2. If you received the product, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product. Please refer to the 14 Day Replacement Guarantee above.

Note:  If you receive a package that is open or looks to have been tampered with, do not accept it. Contact Bookpecker Customer Care on (022) 6624 2222, and we will have the issue quickly resolved.

Print On Demand Books
The number of printed pages in this edition may be lesser than the total number of pages mentioned, with additional blank pages being added solely to facilitate binding. This is done in the case of reproductions and antiquarian texts, where the subject matter does not exceed the minimum number of pages required for binding.

How will my refund be processed? 
You can expect to receive the refund within four weeks from shipping your return to Bookpecker.com (this includes conservative estimates of the time required for the return shipping, inspection at our returns facility, and processing from your bank or credit card company). We will notify you via email with the details of your refund.
The refund will be made to the same payment option(s) originally used to pay for the order.

Please note that the refund will be done based on the current Rupees/Dollar rates.

  • Our Online Payment Gateway accepts payment only in Indian Rupees.
  • The USD prices shown on the site are only indicative and for your reference.

Therefore, the amount charged is the INR value of the product displayed on the site which is converted into US Dollars or any other foreign currency at the actual prevailing conversion rate while passing on the order to the payment gateway.

I received the product, it's not as per shown / expected different feature received? 
If in any situation you feel what is delivered is not as per displayed, then please bring it to the notice of the Bookpecker customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. Please fill in the details as to what is received that is different from what was ordered and the team will get back to you with the further course of action

Will I receive the exact item as shown in the picture? 
Bookpecker takes care to deliver exactly what is displayed on the site. However, sometimes shades, color and pattern may vary as the image is only for viewing and understanding purpose.

Order cancellation by Bookpecker due to product Out of stock /Change in price?
Bookpecker makes every attempt to execute all orders received by it. On certain occasions, the product tends to get out of stock due to its demand in the market. If in such situations, Bookpecker is unable to procure the item within a short period of time, then the order is reversed and the amount is refunded.

However in any case due to any reason if Bookpecker is unable to execute the order, full refund will be given within a period of maximum 15 working days.
